Default Filters for 5700

Is this a good deal? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...808500236&rd=1

Which one do you think I should use the most?

HOYA is a major brand of filter. 72mm is quite large and larger filters are more expensive than smaller ones especially polarizers. I assume you need a 72 mm filter. I use a polarizer most to darken sky (best when shot at +_ 90 degrees to sun arch, ie facing more or less North or South, and better before and after midday) It is also good for eliminating glare and reflections ex: shooting at fish in water to eliminate the sky reflection so you can see into the water, ya know like polarizing sunglasses! Skylight filters are usually used to keep on the lens to protect it from scrathes etc as it is cheaper to replace than a lens!!! I've never used a UV filter, I guess it prevents sunburn....ha ha. I paid $49 for my 52 mm Tiffen circular polarizer from a camera store. You need CIRCULAR polarizers for digital and auto focus cameras. Always check sellers feedback and check completed auctions to see what this or similar items actually sold for to get an idea how much to bid. JG
