Dan -

Sorry I'm so late in getting back to you with a response to your question regarding "what's wrong with lenses from E-bay?"

The problem with many less expensive lenses is usuallypoor optics. You may get a satisfactory focus in the center but as you move towards the edges, it gets fuzzier and fuzzier. With some lenses, you can't even get a satisfactory center focus. The other issue is "quality." I've heard of some (but I can't document!?!) where the glass just fell out of the lens frame.

If you find something that looks interesting but you're not sure as to the quality, post a new question here at Steve's. Chances are someone here has tried that lens.

Ok I kind of gave up looking for a lens but today I took a look on e-bay and found a new seller of upgrade lenses and they say it will work on the 3700. Can someone take a look at this and tell me what you think since I don't really know anything. Here is a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
