Hi! I have seen some lensesthat uses a magnet to adhere to the camera. They are for compact cameras which haven't aspyial to add a ┬┐conversion? lens. Is this system apropiate, involves any risk for the camera? When I sow it remembered when I used a little magnet to change the TV colours at the corners...:?

The magnets bends the beam on a TV because a TV works by shooting electrons at a screen; and moving electrons are affected by magnetic fields since they are charged. Light, however, has no charge, so the magnet will not bend the light. Whether it is strong enough to hold the lens on securely is another matter - you don't want a lens that can fall off at the slightest knock. Unless the magnet is *very* strong, however, it should not affect the electronics of the camera (unless you're using a microdrive).
