You'd make a fine Texan, Bahadir.

A few years ago, after 9/11, I went to Canada with my son. When we were coming back through the border, they were pretty careful. The guard looked us both over, and asked me if I was an American.

I don't know why I said it, but I replied "I'm from Texas."

He laughed and waved us through.

Nice pictures. Do you have any pictures of the courthouses in the hill country area? I have some at home from Mason, Fredricksburg, and Boerne and they are great. Also, the Decatur courthouse (Wise County) is absolutely gorgeous at night.

The Erath County courthouse is very similar to the Wise County courthouse. Makes sense I guess as they are one county apart!

It looks much more like the Ellis County courthouse in Waxahachie (see my first 3 photos).
