Another shot taken at Agia Triada Monastery, Akrotiri Peninsular in North Western Crete. Tuesday 3 October 2006. Nikon D50 with 18-70 Nikkor lens

I know that you cannot do anythingabout the trees on your picture but they are disturbing the whole atmosphere of that photo. You can´t see the building clearly because of them. Maybe a shot from another angle would bring a better result.
