Excellent handheld shot. Did you use a stabilized lens?

One of my favorite photo op places in the world is your central cemetery there in Milano. I don't think I ever stayed in the city without making my way there.

Tasteful capture! Once I visited Milano. I cannot forget the broad historical streets of this lively city(even in winter nights!) and the Dome cathedral especially...Ah, I also remember staying ata hoteloverlooking the great train station built by Mussolini : )

I simply intended to remove some noise while retaining the beautiful detail. Hope you don't mind...

Hi guys.. I even didn't notice the activities here.. coz I was away for a long wekend..

As a first thing.. I didn't use any lens - stabilyzed or not.. I own Sony DSC-V1..

Ans I make low light shots very rare.. and they are always handheld.. I just couldn't resist this time.. because of light, which is removed by bluesman graham..

But! I love those experiments! Most welcome on any of my pics posted in forum!

A tech question to bahadir - what did u use for noise removal? I didn't bother much to do this myself.. I know it was noisy..

Some info:

Camera: Sony DSC-V1 Exposure: 0.125 sec (1/8) Aperture: f/2.8 Focal Length: 7 mm ISO Speed: 320 Exposure Bias: 0/10 EV
Have a great day!!!

I used 'Neat Image' for this edit. Iremember havingrecommended this software to some other members in this forum whoseemed to like the results. Glad you likeit, too! It only requires simple care about settings so as to prevent your imagesfromgoing unfavourably soft ; )

DigitalGal, very nice picture, just like bahadir said you could try Neat Image, or you could even try Noise Ninja 2 both are great.

Thank you guys!

Neat image is what I have tried already some time ago.. and I am too lazy to fix images.. too much work on PC.. and requires a lot of attention.. I am always in hurry.. getting new images instead of fixing old ones..

Have a great day!
