I think it's beautiful. Will you have a chance to go back under a blue sky day?

Great photo!!!

Indeed... with a blue sky... and maybe without the leaves on the bottem left corner... this would be a perfect one!!

Just love the greens

The image draws me up towards the door and makes me want to go in!

Wish it was my place

Hi Klaus,

From the tree tops down, I think its a great photo that has wonderful detail and color. I like everything but the sky. Also, I know that is an aspect that no one can really control ;-)

Thanks all. This was shot on a trip to the german border last weekend. I'm not planning to go back there again, so what can a man do ?
Edit - by copying a "blue" sky into the shot. A totally blue sky didn't really fit - so I picked this one... (though it looks a little artificial to me!

Klaus,
I think the clouds are a bit too "busy" they seem to detract from the peaceful nature of the original scene. Give me the original in comparison or maybe a csky background that is less cluttered.

Incidentally great original picture.

Both are excellent submissions

I like the leaves in lower corner...It hints at a lil bit of human
untidyness in a landscape/architecture of perfection!
