Another shot with potential but the foreground is really letting this down and not adding to the shot.

Here is a very quick crop that will help lots. I was also thinking that taking some of the sky off would help but you can play around with that and see what you like.

Wow! What a difference. I love shooting photos but this is all pretty new to me. Your suggestions are very much appreciated. I have never used any software to edit photos. Well not quite true I have done so red eye removal. Thanks again.

i really like the texture in the sky.also shooting before its dark gives the photo a much better look than total darkness.
