Default Till Death Do Us Part....

Together forever but signs of stress are showing. Good for another 40 years at least.

again. your style shines through here.

this is a really nicely composed shot, and i love the contrast of the barns and the fog in the distance (is it always foggy where you live or what??)

but what really makes this image is the small details. the tracks leading into the frame, i love that.

Thanks guys! Dustin, it has been foggy for several days now and everything has frost on it. Today is probably the last day of this foggy/ice crystals trend. I'm just working on a couple more photos for this thread and will post again soon.

Here's one in color and is my favourite one so far.

Now it looks like the one building is trying to suck up for some misdeed. Nice composition. Hey after looking at them both again in the B&W the building is leaning to the left. In the color its leaning to the right. Whats with that?

Wow, I like them both - but the b&w have that special "spy-style" I really admire! Absolutely stunning what you make out of such a simple motive - both with composing, taking the shot and of course with your amazing pp!! I'm lovin' it

i really like the color shot as well Spy. the touch of red contrast so nicely with the desolate setting, which is really quite pleasing. nicely done!

I actually prefer the color over the b/w for this shot but the b/w does add it's own chemistry to the photo. As fas as it leaning left and right is somewhat strange. The color photo is a composite of 16 portrait images stitched and maybe after pulling the corners it may have pulled it more to the right. But if you actually stand in front of it, it does lean towards the other shed. the top of it also leans forward quite a bit so moving around taking shots from the left and right can also make it look as though it's leaning the other way...

spy,

Seems someone should be more supportive. One is standing steady in both pictures, the other is leaning one way at the first photo and another way in the second

Is it that "unsteady"?; if so it really needs support. Also funny - time for some family therapy.
