Thanks, all, for your kind comments!

The Barbarian, B&H's prices in-store are the same as their low prices online, unlike some stores that sell mainly online. The whole store is "mechanized", that is, conveyor velts run all over the store -- up the ceilings, behind the counters, by the escalators, down to the bagging department -- to transport items from their storeroom to the counters so the customers can see and hold them. You can also pick up a free, thick 470-page full color catalog on the way out the door. Also the service is topnotch. Staff are extra friendly. You're not pressured to buy anything. When I'm shopping there it doesn't feel like I'm in NYC at all. Sorry if I just made you drool .

To all, I uploaded one more:

#9) When I stepped out of the Post Office Building at the exit facing uptown (north), I noticed the view and took a picture. The Empire State Building is in the distance and Madison Square Garden is on the right. The tall black building on the left has also become a NYC landmark -- it has a big red #1 on its top. Maybe shoturtle knows what building it is.
