This is another of my varied interests. Interior shots/no flash. Without boosting the ISO too much.

Some of your pics have tree detail thru the windows. the schoolroom shot is all blown. I guess it's harder to do than to say.

But, you said 3 bracketed shots. Do you mean -.7 , 0 and +.7 or something like that? And then you HDRed them? basically? or something else?
thanks.

I think the classroom with the blown window you refer to is #7. (The last one, #12, has trees in the window.) If yes, that was taken through my wife’s Nikon P90 with a bracket of +/-1.0 then HDR-processed. Some of her interior shots have trees through the window, #2 for example, so I’m guessing the sun was coming directly through that window and its brightness was too much for a -1.0 ev.

Thank you, musket.

We took a lot of pictures so here's another. To all, please feel free to comment.

Oh,

Great survey, vv. Highest "photo quality" and sharp eye for details. These photos are much more than the sum of the details though. They enter the realm of narration, to use a popular wording

Great

Thank you, Torgny, for the choice words.

Here's another one.

#14) We learned from the tour guide that the "wings" on either side of the fireplace chair's back are to shield the occupant's face from direct heat coming from the fire. Since this chair is also in an upstairs bedroom, it also has a hidden compartment where one may relieve one's self in the middle of the night.
