Default Gasworks

going through some photos and found this shot of Seattle's Gasworks Park, a former coal gasification plant on the shore of Lake Union that operated from 1906 until the late 1950's. the city bought the site in the early 70's and spent several years trying to clean the toxic waste out of it, but there are still places marked "do not dig"... this was taken a couple of years ago. i remember specifically choosing a cloudy day, trying for a look somewhere between steam-punk and Frankenstein, with perhaps a bit of "Blade Runner" thrown in...

If the sky was a bit brownish, it could be Giedi Prime. You got the look you were going for. Nice work.

I like the depths of the color, has a real
rustic feel.
