Default Millenium Bridge in London

The bridge is very thin, and actually hard to see in this first picture, but I like this view of two of London's skyscrapers, Tower 42 and 30 St. Mary Axe (the egg-shaped one).

This picture shows the bridge better, but it also shows how quickly the day turned overcast! This picture was taken from the 7th floor cafe in the Tate Modern museum.

I have to wonder if the design of the US Capitol was inspired by St. Paul's Cathedral..,

Urban, lovely photos.
I would venture to say that there were many capitol domes of similar shape etc.. for the architects of the US capitol to emulate.

Exceptional detail and clarity even after size reduction.

Thanks guys.

It's interesting you commented on the sharpness. I tried something new with these photos. Since they were being resized by a strange percentage, I resized in two steps. First, the "messy" resampling down to 1600x1066, at which point I sharpened (100% at .3 radius). Then I resized again down to 800x533. The second resize was a cleaner 50%. I think the results are better this way than If I had resampled straight to the final size and done my usual unsharp mask of .2 radius at 100-200%.

This two-part resize method also seems to be usefull in avoiding moire on buildings with close-spaced vertical elements.
