Default Beaumaris Castle

Took a 5 min "time-out" on my morning bike ride to snap a few shots of this old Castle..

Stout walls! But all the roofs are gone? Would be a wonderful subject for a stormy day.

Brilliant, framefilling pictures. Can you virtually point to the location. Not interested in hardware but the SX40 seems to be a good tool

This Castle is located in the Town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey,North Wales,in the UK.

Wow, what a nice place to bicycle past. It is difficult to comprehend the age of your buildings, being only a "new" land!

Yes banksy... a decent cycle route..! This building dates back to roughly 1295 or so.
One of Many castles,historical buildings,Neolithic burial mounds etc- all within just a few miles of each other. LOTS of history in Wales..!
