It's not mine (I wish it were). I saw it one day while riding up a dry creek bed, and since I carry a camera with me all the time. . .ta da.

I've always wanted one to. There was one man over here who built his one for his son and the neighbour complained because he didn't apply for planning permission. It went to court but I don't know how it ended or even if it has yet.

Oh yeah, the photograph. I like the way you've captured just the house, the walkway and the tree's leaves. No trunk or big distracting branches. It makes it look as if it was a long way from the ground, was it?

good point ferny....i'm guessing that the treehouse was only like 10-20 feet off the ground...but it looks like it's really high!

Very effective use of portrait orientation, Imkayd1

I love the warm, natural colors of the treehouse.

Im jealous.....I want a tree house now. Im 26 but am still jealous. I love arvhitecture and that it inspiration enough to go to the lumber yard for materials. I will build one. Just need to remember if I cut that tree down or not. Maybe you could capture the tree house from another angle?
