This is an unusual street in Blackburn. You come up a big hill by Corporation Park and when you get near the top the road stops and the rest of the way is steps. They might not look much but when you've come all the way up the hill on a hot day these steps can finish you off. I'm not sure but i think there are about 60 steps and i was knackered when i got to the top. :-)

Yes, that should slow them down a bit. :-)

Mind you, some people take a short cut through the park.

Where's the austin mini-cooper when you need one for traversing stairs.

Oops, actually now I see one at the bottom of the steps in the first shot.

Very nicely done.

Nice thought selvin but i don't think they'll do another remake of The Italian Job in Blackburn. :-)

I haven't been out around Blackburn with the camera jackrussell..

My next afternoon is plannd for Widdop reservoir on the way to Hebden Bridge.

Some cracking vistas there. Not particularly architectural though, so perhaps off topic.

I found myself up at 5am last Sunday morning - so grabbed the camera and set off out...

An utterly beautiful morning, a little later I was sat by a reservoir at 7.15am, it was hot and sunny and the water was splashing by my feet. Quality.
