This is one of the old cranes in Buenos Aires Harbour

They are not in use for decades, just decorative

Great shot - I love how the tip of the crane seems to disappear into an ink black background. Did you do any PS on the background?

Yeah, I liked the tip of the crane too

no Ps involved, just resized and sharpened

I was using a Hoya Circular Polarizer

I like this shot a lot. There's something about structures lit up in the night that really appeals to me. There's something almost organic about this beast.

Diego,

I really like your crane shots. I've alsobeen looking at your macro gallery and your "Five Drops" is an excellent photo. You need to edit your gallery url in your profile. There is an error.... http:// shows twice.
