and finally the driving force behind all that ice, the Niagara Falls. They are made up of 3 falls, 2 on the US side and one, the Horsehoe Falls is on the canadian side. This is a picture of the Horseshoe Falls.

wow I wish I would have been there on that day, I live about 15 minutes from the falls on the us side.

Wow -great shots crash. I've heard of a hotel in iceland made entirely from (wait for it. . ) ice! I imagine it looks something like your pics. Also, I gather from post infinites comments that it is not always cold enough there to freeze like this.

Thanks all for you comments. Glad you enjoyed the photos.

Suze you're right, it's not always like that. In fact I was lucky to get these shots. The following week it turned warm enough ( just above zero) that it rained and all was gone.
