Hi, I'm new to the board here. I just started in photgraphy a short while ago but I'm most proud of this one so far.

Hello and welcome to the forums;

I think this is a very effective shot. This works very well in B/W. For my liking, I would like to have seen the crop above the wheel in the background, but that is just one opinion.

Good work.

i wish there was the whole wheel in the background but the texture looks great in b/w

I wish I could have got the whole wheel in the shot also. It was a tossup between that and the large beam at the bottom and I really like the way it angled in and it also seemed to anchor the picture. As far as why I like it so much, I feel it has four elements that make up the frame: The pully on the left, the one in the center, the broken window on the right and the beam on bottom. Thanks for the feedback everyone!! :-)
