I just received my Panasonic FZ50 and am looking around for a spare battery.

The battery supplied with the camera ia a Panasonic CGR-S006A rated at 7.2 V, 710 mAh.

In checking eBay I see a number of 'compatible' batteries for sale. However, they are rated at 7.4 V, 1000 mAh. I am concerned (maybe unnecessarily) about the 0.2 V increase in the stated output voltage.

Will these 7.4 V, 1000 mAh batteries (a) damage the camera due to the higher output voltage, and/or (b) cause the camera to malfunction?

By the way, does anyone have experience, good or bad, about digital camera batteries bought through eBay?
