Here is a different take when I faced the same problem a few months ago when I got my MB-D10.

I ended up getting an extra MS-D10, the AA battery tray(1 comes with the MB-D10). I got 16 AA Sanyo Eneloops. Ive gotten over 3500 shots with a single battery pack.

Total Cost
MS-D10 is around 30.00 US
16 Eneloops are around 40.00 US

I already have a few AA chargers lying around, and since I am normally taking an AA charger when traveling for flashes, pocket camera, and other things. The ELe4 Charger is huge, takes up too much space, as well as expensive.

I now keep my ELe3 in the camera as my backup battery and carry 2 trays of AA's.

The 8 fps is just a nice bonus with this setup, useful at times.

Just a different and cheaper approach.
