I need to travel next week via Delta Airlines for a family funeral. Has anyone traveled in USA lately that can tell me the eact travel restrications involving the number of batteries I can put into my carry on camerra bag. I have the batteries (what Iwould call bnattery packs since they are not AAs) that go into a Sony A200. I would like to be able to have 1 in the camera and 2 in the bag that way I can leave the charger home. Can they be loose or should I but each in a seperate ziplock bag.
I never had an issue when traveling before but then gain I was using a Fuji with AAs. I tired the TSA website but could fully underatand the restrictions. dave |

the best way to carry the extra battery is to put electrical tape over the contacts, then put the battery in a plastic, see-thru bag. I use a colored tape so it shows up on the battery. Never had a problem getting thru the airport.
