Default Eneloops in 2011

I know some of you have been using eneloops for a long time, they were pretty good when they first appeared, but they must have they improved over the last couple of years, anyone care to comment?

I swear by the 4 sets of them I have. Mine are only rated at 2000maH even on the set I just got in May. I'll have to get some of the newer ones when the ones I have no give out.

I find that in my Fuji HS20 they last longer than my last remaining set of 2700Nickle Metal Hydride batteries will (even when freshly full charged). I get over 500 shots with them in the camera. Also they stay charged for quit some time in the camera bag. Never pulled a set out and not had them work for long periods of time, but had my old NIMH type batteries loose their charge in the camera bag to the point I had to charge them once a month even if they were not used. Now wih the Eneloops I only charge them after they have been use whether that is 1 month, 3 months or 4 months.

For my AA needs this is all I will buy from now on. Thanks to Sarah Joyce for turning me on to them.
