Default flash power pack for nikon d200

I am interested in knowing what do you use for weddings as far a flash
i use the sb-800 and go through a ton of aa batteries
is there a power pack that can be used with this camera to save on batteries
any wealth of information would be apprecieated

The Nikon SD-8a is the power pack designed for that flash - the pack needs to match the flash, not the camera:

... The only issue is the SB-800 tends to overheat, so I have to wait for it to cool down

-> getting another generic flash and alternate them may be more practical for the same amount spent...
