Does anyone know any tricks or something to increase the battery life in a Canon S30 camera? I've gotten to where I never use the LCD screen on the camera because it drains the battery so fast. And it kinda sucks because with this camera it's hard to get the pictures centered up with just the optical viewfinder (it's off center with the lens).

I've bought two more extra batteries to keep with me and am hoping they will be able to last a full day of taking lots of pictures (I've got a big truck show to go toin two weeks).

Anyone else with this camera have any tips?

Generally this battery wont' goes more than 2 hours if LCD is on, and just a bit longer even LCD is off, as its mechanical movement also consumes quite a large portion of energy. Just go for a car charger so you canrotates your usage ofbattery
