Finally bought a digital camera, Canon A400. The manual talks about using NiMH -2AH batteries with a "typical capacity of 2300mAh (min.: 2100 mAh). I own Rayovac IC3 2000 mAh batteries, the 15 minute charge ones. Is it ok to use these Rayovacs in the A400?

As long as they are talking about AA NiMH batteries, then any kind will do... Even 1000 mAh will do... The only difference is that 1000 mAh won't last as long as 2000 mAh(normally half the time). And no, the brand does not matter, in the sense that all brands will work, some will work best because the batteries are better.

I'm using Sanyo 1850 mAh batteries with my canon A60. IIRC, the manual also says something about using at least 2100 mAh batteries. but I've never had any problems.
