OK - so simply put, who buys OEM, when you can get oem-replacment/equivalent for 1/2 the price?

I've seen prices range from like $9 to $30+ for these type of batteries. Some come with a 3 year warranty....thus my question as listed on the subject line.

Links would be usefull too!

no brainer the $9 ones??? But I saw a place that had the BP511 repalcement batteries for 11.99 and they were the 1800 mHh. Where as a Canon brand is only 1000 mAh. I currently have a BP-511 that came with my 20D. And a power 2000 BP-512(1500 mAh) for my 20D.I'veI bought the verticle grip with my 20D (it allows you to use two batteries at once) and I've never ran out of batteries. I cameclose once but I took onebattery out and shot with what was lefton the other. By the time the one that I tookout was done charging the otherwas on it's last leg.
