I see they offer the BP-NKL3 for $20, Does anyone have any exp. with digipower and or their batteries? The Nikon is $50. I am also looking at the Digipower power grip. Any info would be great thanks.

I think those are quite equal to brand batteries.
First of all they stand behind their product unlike some eBay El cheapos which are about 100% sure low quality no name junk made by sub-B class factory... and whose sticker (when there's such) often claim they're genuine.

Considering powergrip it's biggest benefit would balancing weight of external flash. Propably battery life is already very good. Also it doesn't show does it have handstrap.
As downside it increases size and weight, I don't think DSLRs are so light even without such.
I have much lighter than SLRs top end prosumer KonicaMinolta A2 and I use batteryback/verticalgrip all the time because handstrap makes grip much more secure and extra weight balances/stabilizes camera really nicely, with heavier SLRs that effect isn't propably so noticeable.
