I don't usually get on a soap box about things but being retired from the US Military and a veteran of the first Gulf War, The Flag is a touchy subject for me. Here is a link on the rules and regulations for the flag. About half way down is the Flag Code, Section 8should beof particular interest.

Mugmar,

Thanks for the link and the info. I guess I should dispose my flag shirt. Thank for serving in the US Military.

By the way, you are Military, you have every right to get on your soap box.

The only problem I have with the display is the black lettering on the flag. You are not supposed to print anything on the flag, at all. The flag is the flag, no matter what medium it is printed on.

A disturbing image. The printing on that flag makes it look like a commercial sign, and the uniforms as mere props. I know it wasn't the intent, but this display has a disrespectful feel to it that I don't like at all.

PS - I'm ex-military too, so I know a bit about respect.
