Driving through Costa Mesa, Calif. yesterday I spotted a used car dealership that specialized in custom and classic cars. In one corner was this rather strange looking military vehicle with British flags. It looked like it could only accommodate one or two individuals. Any of you English blokes have information about this?

Interesting...I'd be curious enough to go inside and ask someone about it! Good capture.

Where was that dealership? I used to live in Costa Mesa. It looks really familiar... is it off Harbor Blvd.?

Obviously, they have that in stock for those of us who need a way to get through Orange County rush hour traffic at a faster pace.

Unfortunately, it was 8:00 a.m. and the place was closed.

Yes, Harbor Boulevard just north of Fairview (I think), across from Norm's Restaurant. They probably had 50-60 classic and custom vehicles in very nice condition. Even had a Rolls Royce convertible once owned by Barry Manilow.

Not sure what these protrubing objects are on the front corners of the vehicle.

OK Walter...next time you are down that way...find how how much they want for it and if they'll shit it east. That would be perfect to teach my son how to drive in.

A most interesting vehicle. I'd say it is an armored personnel carier of some kind. Those three tubes look like they might be flag holders or possibly flare guns. I think flag holder is more likely.
