took this shot of the setting sun reflected in the waters of Lake Couer d'Alene, Idaho. smoke from multiple wildfires burning in the mountains to the south made the air thick, and gave the sun its ruddy color...

This is a really nice shot but I don't think it meets Sevin's requirements. The sun is too high in the sky.

depends on where you call the horizon. i ain't gonna quibble... the sun was gone 20 minutes after i took this shot... you do the math.

I think the image is deceiving due to the focal length. If the picture wastaken at full WA, I believe the sun would appear to be a lot closer to those mountains.

I have to agree that if the shot was taken with telephoto then the angle of the sun is deceptively high.

In any event, very well executed.
