A view of Lake Tahoe fromHwy 50 (close to the summit). Stuck in a huge traffic jam due to a nasty accident at the bottom of the hill,I took the opportunity to capture the sunset with my old LZ2.

Thanks very much for the compliment, Bob. It was indeed an aggravating situation for I had two cold and hungrykids in the car, stuck for 2 1/2 hours.

Great shot. It has been awhile but I have seen that view but I have seen it many times. I have also flown a Cessna 150 into that airport on one occasion.

Thank, Desperate. Actually, we were already in Tahoe. We had gone to a snow park with the kids at the summit. At the end of the day, on our way back to the hotel traffic suddenly stopped. We thought is was the usual slow traffic going down the hill...wrong. We sat there for over 2 1/2 hours. It was miserable, believe me!

Tullio,

When are we going to eat? I'm hungry! Aren't we having dinner? etc...

I know the feeling. Your consolation, a lovely shot.

Aloha

Yep, I had to get out of the car or I'd go crazy. I'm just glad I had the little LZ2 with me.

Very cool shot! The human element is great, adds a memorable touch to a postcard-like pristine shot!
