I think I would have preferred to see both of these pictures zoomed out more. In the first, a wide-angle view would give more context to the apparently layered clouds. In the second, a wide-angle view would give more context to the scene. I like the way you captured the bird in the second shot.

After seeing the many beautiful photos posted so far, I have to agree with some of the comments indicating how wide-angle really enhances a sunset photo.

Beautiful colors and nice cloud formation. The bird on the second photo is certainly a plus. However, as Icommented in other postings, a WA view would have given the scene a lot more impact.

Subir,

Aside from the coment re the wide angle lens I ound the first shot to be quite appealing. Timing was good with just a wisp of the sun visible.
