This is a simple but effective shot. I must say though, that the color looks PP'ed.

As Tullio remarked, the colors are very attractive. The trees look slightly fuzzy on my screen. Nice silhouette tho.

it was a 30" exposure, and the sky was very dim (hence the difficulty in focus...canons have pretty dark viewfinders!) , but pink. I did adjust the color temperature in Camera RAW, but no photoshop. Not sure if that disqalifies.

I personally think that we should try to meet the challenge by using photographic techniques rather than post processing ones. Would you say the photo below was taken at 6:50 pm or 2:00 pm? Well, if you guessed 6:50 pm you got it wrong (see original #2). Now, does my photo meet the challenge? It looks like a pretty sunset, does it not? I'd say it does not meet the challenge but, I'm not the moderator here so that's just my opinion, of course.

Hello urbanaries! I like the composition of this photo! I just checked the weather forecast and it looks like we may have some breaks in the clouds that may make for some nice sunset photos tonight.
