I'm not sure. Would that be repetition or replication? I guess the two chicks are repetition and the chicks and the adult are replication. My wife thinks I watch too much Star Trek and she's right! Now... when is that next episode on. I hope they got the replicators fixed......

Actually this is a great wildlife shot. You must have either used a very long lens with a sturdy tripod or you had some kind of blind setup. How about telling us how you did it.

You're right - it's both repetition and replication. Mine is Pana FZ3. I used the full zoom - 12x, nothing else. The tree is not far away, about 8-10 m. Brief exif is ISO 80, f4, 1/200, aided by abundant sunlight directly over the object.
