This is the Parthenon in Nashville, TN. It is a full size replica of the original in Greece. It was built over 100 years ago for the cities centennial celebration.

Been to Nashville several times on business, but never managed to visit this. Looks impressive. Nice perspective on the columns.

Once again, multiple challenges represented: Repetition and Vanishing Point.

Excellent work! Either you did an excellent job in avoinding perspective distortion or you fixed it in PS. Either way, great job.

Mugmar,

I love it! Perspective and composition are right on target.

Thanks to all for the kind comments.

Walter, Next time you are in the Nashville area you should try to stop and see this. It is across from the Vanderbilt campus. (drop us a PM next time you're in town:-))

Cal, This was taken with a Sigma 10-20mm, and it did havea littleperspective distortion.Just a couple of points in lens correction were needed to fix it.

It interesting. I was watching a program last night about Perecles and construction of the Parthenon in Athens and they showed a shot identical to this one. Deja Vu! I've been here before...
