Walter, you took the words right out of my mouth. As hot as it gets there, what are the kilns needed for.

The kilns were used to turn Pinion Pines (I think that is the tree) into charcoal for smelting operations in the area. They have not been used for I think like over 50 years but still smell like a fire inside them. Nothing decays in this dry climate.
