Hello all!

Well maybe I'm just a bit childish, but it's nice (for a change) to be the first poster for a new challenge, this one being seasonal colour.

I like the random patchwork effect of colours (yellows, oranges, reds, browns, greens) that can be found in forests and in nature during this time of the year (in the northern hemisphere).

Though I must say I also like spring in Australia (where I'm originally from...) so I hope to see some southern hemipherians post some photos too!

Cheers all!

Paul

Paul...patchwork seems to be the perfect way to describe your image. There is an awful lot of hues there.Nice work.

Thanks Vsch1 (if I remember well you are Vanessa?!)

I appreciate you looking at this photo. Indeed the "patchwork" pattern is there.

Best regards,

Paul

Donna! Now there's a good way of wording it! Thanks for looking at my post and commenting...

I must return the favour one time soon.

Hi Cal! thanks for appreciating the photo. Good to get a mod's nod of approval!

Yes, I realised yesterday afternoon (RO time) that you had editted my subject line. (for all who are interested... for the subject line I had written: "I'm the first poster for Seasonal Colours"... I was a bad boy who hadn't followed the request to (just!) have "Seasonal Colors" in the subject line.

I was just so excited to see no one had posted anything to this challenge yet, that's why I had written that. So it's good we have kind and discplining moderators who can keep us mischievious ones in line!

Cheers Cal!
