The first shot is in Hillsboro, OR taken about two years ago with my Minolta S414 in auto. The second was taken last weekend at a city park in McMinnville, OR with my D100

The first shows gold leaves that have fallen into a red bush.
Minolta S414, auto, 1/350th at f3.6

The second shot shows a red tree with a gold tree behind it.

I like them both. :-)

How do you include two photos in one post? After I had attached one, then tried to attach a second one, it replaced the first. I ended up making two separate posts.

Nevermind. I see now that you didn't "attach" your photos, but linked to photos on an external site. Mystery solved.

I love both photos, Cal, though I have to be honest I think the first one does it more for me. Also the contrast in size and shapes of those different leaves is very catching.

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos too.

Thanks all for the kind comments. I have many more but after seeing some of the work posted so far, my photos pale by comparison.
