Nothing really special about these signs except for the tornado in the background. It was a sign that people were going to have a bad day! I was lucky I had my camera with me this day! This isn't the highest quality photo I have ever taken but it was one of my most exciting. This tornado did quite a bit of damage to the north end of our town.

The urban signs do qalify but I found the sign of the tornadoes certainly lives up to your tag, "Ominous."

I lived five years in Chicago and was most fortunate never having one of these fellows drop in.

It's bad enough with hurricanes, floods, volcanoes and earthquakes around here.

Thank you Selvin and GoCubs! This is the second tornado I have seen in my life, the first one a F3 passed south of our house by less than a mile and then this one F2 was probably two miles away which is plenty close for my liking.:G

Bob. Good photojournalism effort. I take it you weren't headed for the car wash.

Good morning Walter, thank you! Looks like I'm not the only early bird on here this morning.
