This photo is from a road about 2-3 miles from the gulf coast. The nearest town is a small place called Cameron in Louisiana. The town also is about 2-3 miles from the coast.

I have a hard time taking photos of this kind of stuff. Not hard as in me being there and taking the photo but taking a photo that when someone sees it they understand what I am trying to show them. I drive down a road and see something like this; just an empty slab with sticks sticking up. Somehow I need to put human scale to it. Somehow show this slab was a gas station that people worked at. Show that the next slab was a mom & pop store. That all of this to the pile of junk in the dissents that was a shelf storage that people stored grandmas old rocker are gone. Some photos I am better at (or maybe they are just easier to take) and some I just can't get at all.

A sign of hard times ahead. Another good one, Daz.
