This was taken a few days ago before Cal's suggestion to show scale. The figures in the background are two inches tall and the front one is slightly smaller. Photo taken with my Nikon D-50 and Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens.P.S. I forgot to mention I love this lens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice. Regarding the lens, a prime lens will always outperform a zoom. They are sharper and generally have a larger aperture. The larger aperture makes them great for low light shots. I used to have a 55mm f1.2 lens for my old Minolta SRT101A and stupid me traded it for a zoom. That was a mistake!

Bob,

Love the soft effect. It matches the subject matter very well in this macro.
