Great shots. What are those two black things sticking up from the abdomen of the aphid? I have never seen that before. The second insect looks like a small beetle of some kind. It appears to have a hard shelled body.

Now that is really a macro....or is it a micro??? That is really a great shot! I want to try an ant, but I can't find one right now...:? Guess it will have to wait...Thanks for sharing this with us....really great!!

My, you do have some interesting bugs around where you live. I think all of ours are in hibernation.
