I was raised in Princess Ann, population about 2,800. A historic little town that has a festival, Old Princess Anne Days, every October, with costumes and re-enactments.

Somerset County Courthouse, replaced original building in 1904-05. At the end of the street, you see the library.

Standing in the same place and looking the oposite direction down the same street, you see the Teackle Mansion, c. 1802. This used to be a plantation on the small river that has since filled in with silt, and is now a shallow small river, but huge boats used to be able to come right up to the back of the mansion. Most of the plantation's land is now part of the town.

Very nice looking historic buildings. Very few buildings in Hawaii are built of bricks now. Don't know if it's cost or problems with earthquakes.

Aloha
