This is Schimpff's Confectionery on Spring Street in Jeffersonville, Ind. just across the river. We lived on that side of the river for seven years in the 80's. If you're a History Channel watcher you may have seen it on the Modern Marvels program. This is the original 114 year old store. It looks pretty much like it always has. This time of year it's a very busy place. Sometimes you literally can't squeeze in another person.
