This is the razor wire fence that runs from the back line of our building all around the compound where we store our cargo. It keeps people from just wanderinginto the yard. This is from a project I was asked to undertake to get some photos of the new facility. The lighting was less than great and after a number of unsuccessful shots with the tripod and hand-held...I got annoyed and set thecamera on the ground about 3 feet from the fence. I liked the way the light cast across the pallets and with a little tweaking, i managed to bring out the fence a little more. That stuff is sharp. I definately wouldn't attempt to break into the yard by trying to go through that.

I think that fence looks like a pretty good deterrent!!! I also like how the yellow just pops, but doesnt over power the fence.

Thank you for the comments It took a little brightness/contrast adjusting so the lighting wasn't overpowering it. I didn't want it directlyon the fence, more to kind of shadow it to show off as much detail of the little razors as I could. And yes..it makes a pretty good deterrent. I touched it one day with my leather work gloves on..and it cut through them. This stuff is worse than barbed wire.

Afdani,

Very nice composition. I've seen the bow-tie barbed fence up close and it's menacing and based on your personal experience effective.

Aloha and thanks for sharing.
