Again, couldn't get out today, but took this last April when I was in Salt Lake City. It is a photo of the wall of water that falls off the top of the new conference center and recycles itself up through to the top again.

I did run Neat Image on it as it was very grainy from being taken in the dark area of the room.

NH Mom,

The lack of contrast really detracts. Try B and W?

Another participant and I had a discussion about 'walls" and what was acceptable for this challenge. I'm not sure this is what I had in mind for this challenge but the other participant gave me a great idea for another challenge which this photo would be perfect.

The walls I had in mind were those that were similar to fences, not necessarily architectual walls of a building.

That said....I am intriqued by this photo. What does it look like on the other side? Is there a fountain type pond? It looks like the water is running right down the window as opposed to a free fall waterfall. Fascinating image.

Thanks for your opinion, Selvin. I shall make it b&w and see how it looks. The photo was poor quality to start with because of the lighting conditions.

I'm sorry, vsch1, that I didn't understand the meaning of the challenge. I had thought you were looking for walls of any type or material.

To answer your questions - Yes, there is a pond on the other side of the window where the water falls into. The water on the window is only a portion of the water coming down the waterfall. I do have a photo of the other side, but I'm not home right now. I can post it later.

Thanks, I would love to see the other side. Please post the other photo when you get a chance.

No apologies necessary...I should have been clearer from the beginning.

The other side was hard to get access to. Up close you couldn't get the whole thing and farther away was very far away. Here are two other photos from the outside and the b&w version of the inside.

Leave it to the Mormon Church to come up with some great architecture!

The interior shots of this water feature don't do too much for me. If I saw the water in motion, I might like it. I don't know if a slower shutter speed would help (e.g. fuzzy water) or not. I don't think so.

The outside shots are great!
