I've seen some of those on the road many years ago in Europe and Brazil. I believe the Italians used to call them Romisettas.

Another great shot. That car scares me. People used to think the VW Beetle was unsafe when it was first introduced in the US but the Bettle is armor plated compared to this one. I don't think I would take this on the Interstate!

Good shot. Last year I visited the BMW plant near Greenville, SC, where they also have a museum of BMW autos and cycles. There were several of these there. I recommend it if you are ever in that area.
