#2 is cholestrographically perfect, Bob. I can't believe you ate the whole thing just for this challenge. :-)

Thanks Walter, it's been quite awhile since I have eaten any of this artery clogging stuff. The lenghts we photogs go to for these challenges!:-D

Creativeone on the arches. I got a shot of our local one this morning from the drive thru lane. Once taken, we got out of line! The people behind must have thought we were crazy.:lol:

I had wanted the building arch, but I guess they don't do that any more.

I like the silhouette of the fountain in the first shot but the icicle is fairly ordinary. Overall, the shot doesn't do much for me.

The second shot is much better, artistically. McDonald's has gone back to the arches in their new building construction but they don't look nearly as good as the original design. There is one of the original "Mickey D's" in Portland that has been preserved. A more modern restaurant has been built accross the parking lot and the original is used for parties. I'll post some photos of it later.
