Interesting. Who is the lovely young lady in the first shot, and don't tell me she is part of the marker!

The second is rather ordinary were it not for the chicken, a Rhode Island Red, I believe!

Another couple of good captures, Bill. I think the second shot is a bit under exposed but due to the high contrast between the bright grave stone and the dark sculpture, it would be difficult to get a well balanced exposure between the two. Again, I'd try spot metering on the sculpture and then knock the exposure downby-0.3.
